A great drive up the centre of the fairway is a Blondie. As in "a fair crack up the middle !!" (Maybe UK only)

Elephant's Ass

When you hit a tee shot and pop it up it's an Elephant's Ass. It's high and it stinks!
—Guest Gary

When you putt way short of the hole. As in "Pull you skirt down Alice your slip is showing!"
—Guest Gary

Mary Jane

When hitting a putt way short, no effort at correct distance, we say "Hitting like a Mary Jane."

ISYT

A dreaded term on the course during a round. After a bad shot or a short putt, you say to the golfer. ISYT, It's Still Your Turn.

—Guest John

Kate Winslett

A shot which takes a little too much turf but still ends up OK - a bit fat but alright.
—Guest Iain

Greens in Regulation

When my golf buddy and I hit a green in regulation, we growl at each other as in, GRRRRRRRR!
—Guest Doc

Blue Plate Special

Reaching the green in 3 on a par 5 and finishing with a birdie or par -- worth some money if playing "junk."
