What irons do you play? This question is part of our What's In Your Bag series. Sharing information about the clubs we play is a great way for golfers to help one another make decisions on which clubs to buy and play.
So tell us what irons are in your bag right now, and why you chose to buy that particular set. What Are Your Irons?
Big Bertha 2004
- I play the Callaway 2004 Big Bertha Irons 6 thru SW with regular graphite shafts. Longer 'irons' are Callaway Heavenwoods 3, 4 and 5 hybrids. I love the balance and forgiveness in both the irons and hybrids.

Cleveland cg7 black pearl
- I've been using my Arnold Palmer international irons till I tried the Cleveland cg7 black pearl irons. I like its zip grooves as it hugs the ball and throws it and extra 10-15 yards.

Silver Scots
- Tommy Armour 855 Silver Scot irons from about 1994. I try new irons every year and cannot seem to find one that is as forgiving or workable than these. I wonder why they aren't in the high end club making business anymore? Who knows.

what irons are in bag?
- I have been playing Taylor Made Burners for about 3 years and am very pleased with their playability

Nike Victory Red Split Cavity
- These irons are definitely for low to mid handicap players. When hit on the sweet spot, there's a distinct "thump" sound and the ball travels with distance and accuracy. However, these clubs are not forgiving and considerable distance is lost on mishits. Also, the long irons (3 and 4) are much harder to hit than they look.
