The Shot I Pulled Off
Billy, Mark, and I drove up early on Friday for a Summer golf trip in Gaylord, MI, that I will remember forever!
I hit a solid drive on the 4th hole - Par 5 510 yards but my friend Billy outdrove me 30 yards. I was getting used to this but what happened next was my shot of my lifetime.
I was 226 out to a green that you can not afford to miss on the right or the left side with a severe drop off. The pin was back on the right side and I pulled out my 5-Wood. I just wanted to hit the middle of the green. I hit a nice high shot that landed on the green and rolled to the right and went in the hole for double eagle! We all saw it drop and everyone was yelling and I was jumping with my club raised to the sky. The beer cart girl was on the 5th tee and I bought everyone a shot and a beer. (thanks billy for letting me borrow $40!)
I shot 74 and was on cloud 9 all weekend!

- Drive for show and get lucky and you may not have to putt
