My Review

I bought these clubs in 2009, had my pro fit me, we decided on S300 shafts, more control on loft than the off-the-shelf shaft. Added cushions as well, really a good idea in hindsight.

These clubs have changed my game (I went from a 8 handicap to a 22 handicap and now down to 16 and dropping). Whilst they are fat and ugly, the ability to shape and control my shots is unbelievable. I played blades when I was in my 20s and 30s, and I got spoilt by the control of the flight, though I am not dissapointed with the G15's.

I must admit it took me about a month to trust the heads, hard to look at when setting up. But with the right swing I get great distance, easy draw and most unbelievable cut.

Club specs

Set configuration 3 through U-wedge (I don't use the UW, I still use my CG15 52-degree as a gap wedge), S300 shafts and cushions (I strongly recomend cushiosn if you playing a links course with these irons in the stiff configurtion).

About me

16.3 handicap, play twice a week, practice twice a week.
