This is a great device, and has a couple of features that really made the difference for me:
- one-time fee (no annual dues) to download as many courses as you want.
- customizable maps - if you see a trap or hazard or something that isn't in the map, you can add to it.
- And, in using the device, the battery life is amazing. It lasts a good 3 or 4 full rounds between charges.
It has features that let you zoom to the green, or go back to the full course view. You can measure shot distance, keep score, and quite a bit more. I can't recommend it enough, especially now that Dick's Sporting Goods is deep-discounting it.
Ease of setup

No annual fee for maps.
What I like least about it
Could use more memory - you can download as many courses as you want, but can only store 30 courses in the device at one time.
