Guide Review - "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005"The time when EA Sports still wondered if it had a winning product on its hands is, of course, long passed for the "Tiger Woods PGA Tour" series. We've read many articles about the "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005" version, all of which praise the product while also mentioning that there really isn't all that much that's new to the actual game play. But, hey, how much better can some products get? Besides, there is new stuff in "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005." Sure, the game itself - the mechanics of how it is played - hasn't changed. But the things you can do TO the game ... well, there are some pretty nice features added for "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005." Our favorite is the Legends Tour. This mode brings golf legends such as Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Ben Hogan into the game. Then there's Tiger Proofing, which gives the gamer complete control over a golf course. Deepen the bunkers, shrink the fairways, make any modifications you want. You're in control. The GameFace II option gives you the ability to create a new golfer from scratch, with exactly the details you want. "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005" keeps this series firmly on top of the series golf gaming world. Related Guide Picks |
