The season opens in Hawaii with the Mitsubishi Electric Championship, and concludes in November with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship.
The dates for the five majors of senior golf - Regions Tradition, Senior PGA Championship, Senior Players Championship, U.S. Senior Open and Senior British Open - range from late May to late July.

At the time the Champions Tour 2012 schedule was released, the tour had not yet filled any dates in September. However, the tour is tentatively planning for tournaments on Sept. 7-9, Sept. 14-16 and Sept. 21-23. Assuming these dates are filled, the tournaments are expected to take place in Korea, Japan and China. When the identities and locations of those events are finalized and announced, this space will be updated.
