Rickie Fowler entered the first round of the 2012
Wells Fargo Championship ranked No. 39 in the Official World Golf Ranking. But he had not yet won a
PGA Tour tournament. Since his rookie year of 2010 - actually, for even longer - Fowler had been on the short list of young hotshots with the brightest futures in the sport. And Fowler had won a pro event, just not a PGA Tour tournament.
That changed at Quail Hollow Club in North Carolina. Over the following pages, we'll see more images from Fowler's week at the Wells Fargo, and learn more about him, his career to this point, and his victory.
Fowler opened the tournament with a score of 66 in the first round.
