Men's Sample Olympic Golf Tournament Field

By , About.com Guide

See More About:
The following sample field is based on the Official World Golf Rankings of Oct. 4, 2009 (view those rankings in .pdf file), applying the IGF's proposed format and selection criteria.

The 60 golfers listed represent 34 countries. The highest-ranked is No. 1, naturally (remember: Top 15 automatically qualify) and the lowest ranked barely cracks the Top 400.

Numbers in front of players' names are their ranking in the Oct. 4, 2009, world rankings. First, the 60 players are listed by country, and below that they are listed in order of world ranking.
