The final day at the 2001 Masters began with Tiger Woods, David Duval and Phil Mickelson at the top of the leaderboard. A great leaderboard, and although the final scores were close - Woods by two over Duval, by three over Mickelson - there really wasn't that much mystery throughout the final round as to who the eventual winner would be.

The suspense coming into the tournament was whether Woods could win his fourth consecutive major championship. Woods had ended 2000 with wins in the U.S. Open, British Open and PGA Championship. His victory here made if four in a row - and created the "Tiger Slam."

A traditional Grand Slam is winning all four majors in the same year. A "Tiger Slam" is holding all four major championships at the same time, even if they weren't all captured in the same calendar year.
