Tiger Woods' niece was born on July 25, 1990, in Phoenix, Ariz. She was taught to play golf by Earl Sr. (just as Tiger was introduced to golf by Earl Sr.).
Cheyenne played junior golf and played in high school at Xavier College Prep, an all-female Catholic school in Phoenix. While there, Cheyenne won back-to-back Class 5A Arizona state championships. She was named Arizona State High School Golfer of the Year by the Arizona Republic newspaper in 2007.
Cheyenne Woods began playing collegiate golf in the Winter 2008-09 season for Wake Forest University in North Carolina.
In 2009, she played in her first LPGA tournament at the Wegmans LPGA.
In 2010, Cheyenne won two NCAA tournaments for Wake Forest in her junior season.
She turned pro in 2012.
