About Sarah Sasse:
One of five children (all girls!) from a working class family, Sarah never had the privilege of formal golf lessons as a child. Growing up, she parked carts, picked ranges and cleaned clubs - all in an effort to help cut her golf expenses.

A turning point in her life came during high school, where coaches told college recruiters that Sarah would never be a decent college golfer. Using that as motivation, she went on to become The University of Nebraska's most decorated player ever during her senior year in 2003, winning five individual titles, including Big 12 Player of the Year, NCAA First-Team All American and First-Team All Big 12. Her team also won the Big 12 Championship and made its second NCAA Championship appearance.

"I learned that a short-hitting nobody from Nebraska could make it," she said.

Sarah is a five-time winner of the Nebraska Women's State Championship and a four-time winner of the Nebraska Girls State Match Play Championship. Currently, she is grinding on the Futures Golf Tour, concentrating on sponsorship and trying to gain playing status.

Sarah is inspired by her mother who taught her "it’s nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice."
