More About Jeanne Cho:

Although of South Korean heritage, Jeanne was born and raised in France and speaks four languages. Thought to be a piano prodigy as a youngster, she caught golf fever at age 12 and discovered she had a natural talent for the game. In order to cultivate that talent and provide her the opportunity to flourish, Jeanne's parents sent her to the United States to attend the well-known Leadbetter Academy in Bradenton, Fla. After two years of training – and getting accustomed to living in the U.S. – she decided to make the move permanent.

One of Jeanne's most cherished moments in golf – even though she had to miss her high school graduation because of it – was qualifying and playing as a 17-year-old amateur in the U.S. Women’s Open, her first professional event.

She was recruited by University of Florida women's golf coach Jill Briles-Hinton and played as co-captain for the Lady Gators on a full scholarship. An exemplary student athlete, Jeanne graduated cum laude with a 4.0 grade point average in Quantitative Sciences. She just completed her second year on the Futures Tour, where she made all but two cuts in tournaments she played in 2005. She also competed in the final stage of the LPGA Tour Qualifying Tournament in November, just missing the cut to earn her card.
