Tommy "Two Gloves" Gainey
Gainey appeared on "Big Break IV" and "Big Break VII." He has had success for several years on mini-tour circuits, and in 2007 got into his first PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour tournaments.

Shortly after the airing of "Big Break IV," Gainey won the 2005 U.S. Pro Golf Tour tour championship tournament and its $50,000 first prize.

The mini-tour Gainey has played most frequently is the Tarheel Tour. In 2006, Gainey won twice on the Tarheel Tour, and finished third on the money list with winnings of $47,195.83. In three appearances so far in 2007 he has one win (and a fifth and sixth) and is third on the money list.

His big tour appearances as of this writing:

  • PGA Tour Wachovia Classic - 74-81--155 (+11), missed cut
  • Nationwide Tour BMW Charity Classic - 65-70-69-77--281 (-5), tie 30th
Gainey got into the Wachovia through Monday qualifying. He received a sponsor exemption in the BMW. He was in second place at the BMW each of the first three rounds, until closing with that 77.

Kristy McPherson
After "Big Break VI" taped, McPherson played her way onto the LPGA Tour via the Futures Tour money list. On the Futures Tour in 2006, McPherson won twice and finished fourth on the money list, thereby automatically earning her LPGA Tour card for 2007.

She has played nine LPGA events so far in 2007, as of this writing, and made the cut in five of them. Her best finish so far is a tie for 29th.

Sarah Lynn Sargent
Sargent - or Sarah Lynn Johnston, as she was known on "Big Break VI" before her wedding - is a full member of the LPGA Tour in 2007. She earned her Tour card through Q-School after playing 2006 on the Futures Tour (finishing 18th on the money list).

As of this writing, she has made five of nine LPGA cuts in 2007, with a best finish of 31st.

Don Donatello
The volatile Double-D first appeared on "Big Break II," losing to Kip Henley in the championship match, then returned for "Big Break VII."

Donatello has played numerous events on the Hooters Tour since his original appearance on "The Big Break." In 2005, he played one Nationwide Tour tournament:

  • Envirocare Utah Classic - 73-72--145 (+1), missed cut
In 2006, Donatello played 17 times on the Hooters Tour, missing the cut 15 of those times. In 2007, as of May, Donatello has played in six Hooters Tour events and missed the cut in five of them.
