Christine Song turned 18 years old during 2009, her rookie year on the Duramed Futures Tour. Like more and more top junior golfers, Song bypassed college golf to turn professional and work on her craft on a developmental tour.
Song is a California native who won a couple of AJGA tournaments in the junior ranks, and was a three-time honorable mention AJGA All-America selection.
While she did not win on the Futures Tour in 2009, Song did have six Top 10 finishes, and five of those were in the Top 5.
