The golfer who was oldest at the time of his first PGA Tour victory is Jim Barnum. Barnum was 51 years, 1 month and 5 days of age when he won the 1962 Cajun Classic, his first victory on the PGA Tour.
As a footnote to his victory, Barnum also became the first golfer to win on the PGA Tour while using a Ping putter.
