About the WGC Cadillac Championship:
The event became known as the Cadillac Championship beginning in 2011 when the auto brand replaced CA as title sponsor. The Cadillac Championship is a limited-field event with entry determined mostly by money list ranking, but also by FedEx Cup points and World Ranking points.
Justin Rose won the 2012 WGC Caddy with a final score of 16-under 272, one stroke better than third-round leader Bubba Watson. Watson struggled to a 74, although he hit a fantastic approach on the final hole and had a birdie putt to force a playoff. Rose shot 70 in the final round. It was the fourth career PGA Tour win for Rose.
2011 Tournament
Nick Watney made a string of clutch putts - including a long par-saver on the 14th and a birdie putt at the last - in the final round to claim the title, his third PGA Tour victory. Watney closed with a 67 to finish at 272, two strokes ahead of runner-up Dustin Johnson.
