Annika Sorenstam began the final round at 2-under, on the edge of contention. But she quickly went backwards and was never a factor. She did provide the thrill of the tournament, however, on what may well be her final appearance in a U.S. Women's Open.

And if it is, then Annika went out in style. On the 18th hole, she holed a fairway shot from nearly 200 yards for an eagle. Above, she tosses the ball into the crowd.
