For Paula Creamer in the final round, scenes such as this one far outnumbered the happy reaction pictured earlier. Creamer faltered early and often in the fourth round of the 2008 U.S. Women's Open. In addition to that double-bogey on the second hole, she later double-bogied the ninth. Creamer was out of it by the turn, and wound with a 78 and a tie for sixth place.
