Which golfers comprise the Great Triumvirate? J.H. Taylor, Harry Vardon and James Braid, and that's the order in which they finished at the 1900 British Open. (They also finished 1-2-3, although in different orders, in 1901 and 1906.)

For Taylor, this was the third of his five Open Championship victories. And he ran away from his two famous colleagues, finishing eight strokes clear of runner-up Vardon. Vardon won the two previous Opens, and went on to win another four. Braid had not yet won an Open in 1900, but went on to win five.
