Definition: A "fishie" is a side bet in golf among a group of golfers, and is won by any golfer who makes par on a hole on which he hit a ball into water.
"Fishies" are usually included in the games of Garbage and Dots. Fishies is also a synonym for Splashies.
Groups playing fishies should agree before the round begins a) that fishies are in effect; and b) what the value of a fishie is, either monetarily or points-wise.
Then, during the round, any golfer who hits into water but recovers to make par earns the agreed-upon value of the fishie.
