Definition: "Cablinasian" is a made-up word, invented by Tiger Woods to describe his multiracial family background.
When Woods first burst onto the pro golf scene in 1996, he was the first African-American golfer on the PGA Tour in many years. Woods has a multiracial, multiethnic family background, and he received repeated questions about race.
Finally, to answer those questions, he coined the word "Cablinasian" to describe his own ethnicity. The word is a combination of the words caucasian, black, Indian (as in Native American) and Asian. Woods' family heritage includes all of those races and ethnicities.
