Who is Tiger Woods' niece? Her name is Cheyenne Woods, and, like Uncle Tiger, Cheyenne is a professional golfer. Cheyenne is an accomplished golfer in her own right, although she has not yet achieved victory on the highest tour in women's golf.

How Tiger and Cheyenne are Related

Cheyenne is Tiger's niece, Tiger is Cheyenne's uncle. Duh! But seriously: Cheyenne Woods is the daughter of Earl Woods Jr., who is Tiger's half-brother. (Earl Woods Sr., Cheyenne's grandfather, is Tiger's father, but Tiger and Earl Woods Jr. have different mothers.)

Fast Facts About Cheyenne Woods

Tiger Woods' niece was born on July 25, 1990, in Phoenix, Ariz. She was taught to play golf by Earl Sr., just like Tiger.

Cheyenne played junior golf and played in high school at Xavier College Prep, an all-female Catholic school in Phoenix. While there, Cheyenne won back-to-back Class 5A Arizona state championships. She was named Arizona State High School Golfer of the Year by the Arizona Republic newspaper in 2007.

Cheyenne's College Golf Career

Woods began playing collegiate golf in the Winter 2008-09 season for Wake Forest University in North Carolina. (Among the other golfers who played NCAA golf at Wake Forest are Arnold Palmer, Lanny Wadkins, Curtis Strange and Jay Haas.) She finished 26th in her first college tournament, the 2008 NCAA Fall Preview.

In 2009, she played in her first LPGA tournament at the Wegmans LPGA. She shot 75-74 and missed the cut.

Back on the college scene: In 2010, Cheyenne won two NCAA tournaments for Wake Forest in her junior season. In 2011 she added her third collegiate victory, and it was a big one - the Atlantic Coast Conference women's championship.

Cheyenne Woods In the Pro Ranks

Woods turned pro in 2012 and made her debut as a pro golfer at the 2012 LPGA Championship. She missed that cut, but Woods made her first pro cut at the 2012 LPGA Evian Masters. She entered the final round tied for 19th place at that tournament, but finished in 54th position.

Cheyenne spent 2013 as a member of the Ladies European Tour, and was one of the top LET rookies that year. She finished 78th on the money list, with five Top 25 finishes in 11 starts.

And her first pro victory happened In her second start of 2014: She won the Australian Ladies Masters, a tournament cosponsored by the LET and ALPG.

Near the end of 2014, Woods took part in LPGA Q-School and finished tied for 11th place - good enough to earn her LPGA Tour card for the 2015 season. She was 24 years old at that point.

And as an LPGA Tour rookie in 2015, Woods played in 17 LPGA events. Her best finish was a tie for 24th place, but she earned enough money to maintain playing privileges for the following season.
