Spyglass Hill Golf Course is one of the wonderful courses in the Pebble Beach Resort Community. Spyglass Hill is one of the courses that hosts the PGA Tour AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. It opened in 1966 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.

Judy Hedding, About Guide to Phoenix, says of this photo, depicting hole No. 2: "It wasn’t a long par 4, but at Spyglass there are lots of holes where you have to make sure you get over the first 150 yards of sand, clumpy junk and bushes."
