Sea Trail Resort is in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. It boasts 54 holes of golf, three courses designed by, respectively, Dan Maples, Rees Jones and Willard Byrd.
The Maples Course: A 6,751-yard par-72 track, the Maples Course plays through Carolina pines and majestic oaks, with five holes alongside Calabash Creek.
The Jones Course: A par-72, the Jones Course tips out at 6,761 yards. Water is in play on 11 holes. The fairways are generous, but pot bunkers and lots of mounding make for interesting plays.
The Byrd Course: The youngest of the three courses at Sea Trail, the Byrd Course is a 6,750-yard par-72. It plays around several manmade lakes that range from 14-20 acres in size.
