Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club is located on the South Carolina coast, just inside Pawleys Island. The club is about 25 miles south of Myrtle Beach and 90 miles north of Charleston.
Golf at Pawleys Plantation consists of a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course routed through hardwood and pine forest on the front nie and around, adjacent to and sometimes through the coastal salt marshes on the back nine.
The par-72 layout offers five sets of tees. The first four are named for birds found in the area - Red Tail Hawk, Yellow Finch, White Egret and Blue Heron (with the color designating the tee box) - while the Golden Bear tees tip out at just over 7,000 yards, playing to a 75.3 course rating and 146 slope rating.
