Proderma Skin Care Products

Proderma Products is a company whose skincare products are formulated specifically for golfers. But Proderma's product line is much more than just sunscreen. It also includes lip balm, body lotion, hand lotion, windscreen, facial moisturizer, a "face stick" and a "moon screen," among others.

The newest product from Proderma is the Prism sunscreen, an SPF 30+ that has received the endorsement of The Skin Cancer Foundation.

Prism's active ingredients, Proderma says, "block and scatter harmful UVA and UVB rays more effectively than other sunscreens on the market today." Prism also includes a healthy does of vitamins A, C and E and herbal extract.

The product does not, however, contain alcohol or an oil base, two things can cause skin to dry out.

The formula, which Proderma calls "ABS-ZN45 Technology," took five years and dozens of chemists to develop, the company says.

We liked quite a few things about Prism sunscreen from Proderma, among them the fact that the lotion dries very quickly after application, and without the usual greasy residue on your hands. A golfer can have much more confidence gripping a golf club after having applied Prism.

Prism is also odorless, so no worries about choosing a scent that your golf buddies won't make fun of. Prism is also sweat and water resistant, and, further, discourages insects from using you for their dinner.

The Proderma product line is varied. The Lip Balm and Face Stick are also SPF 30; the Facial Moisturizer and Body Lotion are SPF 18.

The Moonscreen is designed to applied before the golfer goes to bed, to work overnight helping to rejuvenate the skin.
