Ping Anser Forged Wedges Review

Ping Anser Forged Wedge 2011© Ping Golf
Is the Anser wedge the answer to your problems or wishes? These forged wedges from Ping are aimed at low- to mid-handicappers, and they seemed to answer every question our reviewer had. The Ping Anser wedges get five stars in this review.

Bridgestone J40 Wedges Review

Bridgestone J40 Wedges Satin Chrome Finish© Bridgestone Golf
The J40 wedges from Bridgestone Golf are visually appealing, and have a soft feel. The clean lines make them look good, the rough surface texture creates good spin. They are aimed at low- to mid-handicap golfers, however, so high-handicappers won't get as much out of them. For the golfers they are designed for, the J40 wedges are top-notch.

Review: Heavy Wedge

From the company that brought us the Heavy Putter comes the Heavy Wedge. The Heavy Wedge does not have a significantly heavier clubhead compared to other wedges on the market (as the Heavy Putter does compared to many other putters), but there is extra weight at the grip end of the shaft. The result, our reviewer says, is a wedge that feels very balanced. It also produces plenty of spin.

Miura Series 1957 Forged Wedges Review

Miura Golf is best-known as a Japanese maker of high-end forgings. This 1957 Series Forged Wedge exudes craftsmanship and high-performance. It's a limited-edition club, but those who managed to get one got a very good wedge, according to our reviewer.

Cleveland Niblick Review

The Cleveland Niblick is a utility club that can be used for short approaches into the green, as well as for greenside chipping. So it has wedge functionality. But how does it function as a wedge? Read the review to find out.
