Adams also makes quite a few blended sets, sets that include a mix of hybrids and irons. This fairway wood from Adams Golf incorporates the company's "Velocity Slot Technology," with "speed slots" on both the top and bottom of the clubhead. Does that technology add anything to the performance level of the club? Read the review to find out.

The About.com rating for these hybrids is four stars. They are easy to hit with a nice appearance, and a good fit for mid- to high-handicap golfers.

The Speedline F11 is an all-around solid driver from Adams, but doesn't represent a breakthrough in any one area of performance. It is a high-launch, low-spin driver with good distance performance.
