Cobra ZL Driver

The materials in the multimaterial construction of the Cobra ZL driver include a carbon fiber crown and sole on a titanium 6-4 chassis and with a titanium clubface. Cobra Golf also includes a swingweight screw that shifts the center of gravity toward the heel while allowing the clubface to maintain a square alignment.

Those elements combine with a stock 46-inch shaft to, Cobra says, help golfers achieve greater ball speed.

While the Cobra ZL driver sets up square, the face angle can be changed to open, neutral or closed through an adjustable hosel.

The Cobra ZL driver comes standard with 46-inch Aldila VooDoo graphite shafts in men's R and S flexes. Lite and women's flexes and other shaft options are available through custom order. Available lofts are 8.5, 9.5, 10.5 and 11.5 degrees. The driver hits retail outlets on Nov. 1, 2009, with an MSRP of $425. For more info, visit cobragolf.com.
