Wilson describes the Wilson Staff Di9 irons as "a technology-driven combination of power and forgiveness with a high-MOI head design and urethane shock-traps, delivering softer feel and longer distance."
The Di9 irons boast the highest MOI of any iron from Wilson Staff, thanks in part to an increased hosel length. The design of the cavity moves the sweet spot toward the toe and shifts the center of gravity toward the outside of the head, factors the company cites in increased forgiveness.
The "shock trap" urethane insert is positioned in the heel. The wide-tip shaft weighs in at 99 grams, which the company says is the lightest wide-tip shaft yet produced by Wilson Staff.
The Wilson Staff Di9 irons will have an MSRP of $849.99 with steel shafts and $999.99 with graphite shafts. Visit www.wilsonstaff.com for more. (next page)
