The latest from E-Z-Go is the Freedom RVX, an upgraded model of the E-Z-Go RVX that is used in courses' and resorts' golf cart fleets. The upgrades on the Freedom RVX include standard headlights and tail lights, plus speeds of up to 19 mph.
This "personal golf car" has what the company says is an industry-first, a dual-braking system that eliminates the need for the manual parking break, and automatically slows the cart on steep grades.
The electric version makes use of a 48-volt alternating current motor, which the company says is 30-percent more energy efficient than the traditional direct-current motors; and the gas version uses a 13-horsepower engine whose fuel consumption is up to 52 percent less than other models, according to E-Z-Go.
Available options include turn signals, platinum spoke wheels, club and ball washer and cooler, and the Freedom RVX comes in 14 colors. Check the E-Z-Go Web site for more info, or to find dealers.
