Nicklaus Claw Hybrids

Like the Nicklaus Claw Fairway pictured a couple pages ago, the focus in the Nicklaus Claw Hybrids is to reduce sole drag. According to the company, these hybrids have nearly 43-percent less "turf touch" than previous Nicklaus Golf Equipment hybrids.

The Claw Hybrid also boasts an extra 50 grams of weight throughout the center runner in the sole, in line with the club's center of gravity. This is designed to help increase the launch angle.

The Nicklaus Claw Hybrids are available in lofts of 18, 21, 24 and 27 degrees for right-handed golfers; and 21, 24 and 27 degrees for lefties. Shaft options include the FST Pro Silver Ultra Light Steel in Regular and Stiff flexes; Precision Rifle Black Graphite in A, R and S flex; and Nicklaus SG Pro 3.01 in L flex. MSRP is $89.99 to $99.99, depending on shaft. For more info, visit Nicklaus Golf.
