The latest putter in Nike Golf's Method line is the Nike Method Core Drone, which has been in use on pro tours for several months but becomes available at retail on Nov. 1, 2011.

The Method Core Drone is a geometric mallet whose wing-like shaping is designed to pull weight away from the face and to the perimeter, boosting MOI. The Core Drone incorporates Nike's Polymetal Groove Technology, and the company's Opti-mass weighting is in the center and wing tips of the putter head.

The Polymetal Groove Technology is a blending of polymer and aluminum grooves on the putter face, a system that Nike Golf says produces a faster forward roll (less backspin and skidding) along with lower vibration and a better sound at impact.

Standard lengths are 33, 34 and 35 inches, and the Nike Method Core Drone putter also comes in a 41-inch belly putter length. The MSRP at launch is $203.99 for the standard lengths and $227.99 for the belly putter. nikegolf.com
