The Exotics CB4 Tour driver uses a new titanium blend in the clubhead that Tour Edge says is harder, denser and stronger than the more common 6-4 Ti blend. The driver has a cup face design with variable thicknesses across the face, with overall thinner walls compared to previous Exotics models. Heel and toe rails reposition weight to the perimeter, enhancing MOI; but the center of gravity is closer to the face, helping produce the lower launch.
The Exotics CB4 Tour fairway woods have a titanium cup face on a hyper-steel body, with a smaller-than-typical 170cc clubhead in a more traditional shape. Combined with a higher center of gravity, the results, Tour Edge says, are lower spin rate, workability, and penetrating ball flight.
The Exotics CB4 Tour driver has an MSRP of $329. It comes with an Aldila Rip Sigma 60 shaft and an Exotics White New Decade Cord grip. Available lofts are 8, 9 and 10 degrees, and all have face angles 2-degrees open with shaft lengths of 45.5 inches. The drivers are available in right-hand only.
