The Adams Redline Hybrid-Iron set is targeted at golfers who want distance, and more distance. The Redline Super Hybrids have a larger clubhead than standard hybrids, an ultrathin steel face, a tri-level sole designed to reduce turf interaction, and weighting characteristics designed to boost MOI. They also have longer shafts to help increase swing speed.
The Redline irons in the set combine thin faces with weighting low and back, plus progressive topline thickness and increased sole camber. A TPU insert in each iron head is intended to create what Adams terms "a more satisfying" feel and sound at impact.
The hybrids are available as 3-, 4- and 5-hybrids (number corresponding to the iron each replaces). It's up to the golfer to decide whether the set will include one, two or all of the hybrids. The 8-club Adams Redline Hybrid-Iron set has an MSRP of $899.99 with graphite shafts and $799.99 with steel shafts. adamsgolf.com
