The adidas Traxion Lite golf shoes debuted in late 2010 with one model in the colors shown in the photo above; two other color schemes will follow in early 2011.
The Traxion Lite are designed for lightweight comfort in spikeless golf shoes with an athletic-shoe appearance.
adidas' Advanced Traxion Technology, with its ridges and permanent gripping elements, is employed in the sole in place of cleats. The shoes' design also incorporates ThinTech (getting the golfer's feet a smidge closer to the ground) and "Formotion" outsole technology (which adidas says softes the heel strike to produce a smoother feel).
