HandDri Pouch Keeps Hands and Grips Moisture-Free

About.com Rating four out of Five

By Brent Kelley, About.com

If you have trouble with slick hands or slick grips, HandDri might be a product for you. A small pouch that looks like a rosin bag, HandDri contains a drying agent that removes moisture from hands or grips to help you keep control over your golf clubs.
No matter what conditions you play golf in, there are surely times when your hands and grips get slick. Maybe you play in a high humidity area, or an area where misting rain is common. Perhaps you play in very hot weather with sweaty hands. HandDri attacks all of those problems.

For moisture on hands, simply pat the HandDri bag between your hands and fingers. The drying agents inside the bag seep through and onto your hands. Clap your hands together to remove excess drying agent, and off you go.

Likewise, the HandDri bag can be rubbed directly onto golf grips to remove moisture or resture tackiness.

There are two qualities about the HandDri that I particularly like. First, it works on sunscreen. I am a red-haired (well, what hair is left is red!), fair-skinned fellow, so I apply liberal amounts of sunscreen during a round of golf. After each application, the HandDri did a great job in removing the slickness from my hands.

Also, the HandDri comes inside a Velcro-sealed, water-resistant pouch that clips onto your golf bag for easy access.

Before using the HandDri, be sure to read the cautions on the back of the packaging - they will get your attention. I frequently reach up to adjust my glasses, but I was careful to keep my hands away from my face after using the HandDri. Dust from the drying agent inside the pouch should not be breathed, and it should be kept well away from the eyes.
