In time for the PGA Merchandise Show later this month, Srixon announced its newest high-performance golf ball, the Srizon Z-UR. It is, the company claims, "a new benchmark in urethane performance technology."
The Srixon Z-UR has a membrane-thin urethane-elastomer cover, measuring a tiny 0.02 inches in thickness, that is very soft yet shear resistant.
Like all of Srixon's high-performance balls, this one, too, features the company's "E.G.G." core. That stands for Energetic Gradient Growth, and Srixon says the E.G.G. core in the Z-UR is the largest and fastest in any Srixon ball.
The ball features a 330-count dimple pattern designed to combine a high trajectory with a penetrating ball flight for stability in all cross winds and head winds.
The Srixon Z-UR golf ball debuts with an MSRP of $55 per dozen.
