In 2005, Pole Kat is taking aim at helping average golfers improve their aim - and distance - off the tee with the introduction of the 3D. The 3D is so-named because it combines elements of the driver with a 3-wood, producing qualities Pole Kat believes will help recreational golfers with both distance and accuracy.
If you've ever put your driver back in the bag because of lack of confidence, then Pole Kat believes the 3D might be the club for you.
The 3D's loft and length are more like those found in 3-woods, but its clubhead size is much larger. The combination creates, according to Pole Kat, the accuracy of a fairway wood but with the forgiveness and distance of a titanium driver.
The Pole Kat 3D is 44 inches in length with a loft of 15 degrees. The clubhead size is 320cc.
"The result," the company says, "is a very forgiving and easy club to hit. Any golfer who hits their three wood or long iron off the tee because they can't hit a driver has to try the 3D."
The 3D is available in right-hand and carries and MSRP of $149.99.
