Milled Series Putters
The Milled Series Putters are PGA Tour-inspired and made from CNC milled Japanese carbon steel 25, which the company says offers exceptionally soft feel and distance control.
Milled Series putters feature a tungsten weight in their sole which works to move the sweet spot directly center-line, effectively lowering the club's center of gravity.
The Milled Series line of putters will be available in five traditional shapes. Vijay Singh is among the Cleveland tour staff already using one of these putters.
Milled Series putters have an MSRP of $255 and will begin shipping March 1, 2005.
Speed Control Putters
This new line of putters features two different models, the Speed Control Gray and the Speed Control Red. The idea, the company says, is "to accommodate the fact that no two greens are created equal."
The Speed Control Gray features an S66 polymer insert designed to offer the highly responsive feedback needed for improved distance control. This makes it most suitable for faster greens or those that register 8.5 or higher on a stimpmeter.
The Speed Control Red, on the other hand, has a specially treated, stainless steel insert that is heavier and more resilient than normal stainless steel. This added weight makes it the ideal choice for putting on slower greens.
Both Speed Control series have an MSRP of $150 and will begin shipping on March 1, 2005.
