Nakashima Golf's representatives say the company has a growing reputation within the golf industry that is due in great part to buzz surrounding the NP-1 380cc and 420cc drivers.
All Nakashima Golf NP-1 titanium drivers feature the companys "True Loft and Face Angle System." The company pledges that no driver sold will exceed a tolerance of 0.5 degree on either loft or face angle.
The body of Nakashima Golf's NP-1 titanium drivers is vacuum cast from a very high-grade titanium alloy, which minimizes welding, helping avoid energy loss at impact. This technology allows the club to distribute weight at optimal locations to achieve maximum forgiveness and the ideal launch angle for each individual loft.
"We are extremely proud of the reaction we have received to our NP-1 line of drivers," Nakashima Golf founder and president John Nakashima said. "As a small boutique studio we can achieve higher standards of performance and consistency than the larger OEMs. ... We feel that the time we took developing and introducing the NP-1 has proven to be the right path."
The NP-1 420cc model is available in lofts of 8, 9, 10 and 12 degrees; the 380cc model comes in lofts of 8.5, 9.5 and 10.5 degrees.
Nakashima Golf products are currently available through a growing international network of master club builders and green grass pro shops. Company officials expect that number to increase significantly over the summer. For more info, visit the Nakashima Golf Web site.
