Tour Edge Appeals to Tradition in Bazooka JMAX Tour Iron-Wood

Tour Edge's Bazooka JMAX Iron-Woods have been popular with golf media and players alike since their debut in the utility club, or hybrid, category. Like most hybrids, their appearance placed them somewhere between a fairway wood and iron in clubhead size and shape.

Now, Tour Edge has a new version for golfers who want a hybrid that is a big more traditional in appearance: the Bazooka JMAX Tour Iron-Wood.

The JMAX Tour features a thin, blade-like top-line, less offset, and a more classic appearance with neutral bias. It doesn't stick out (or look like) a sore thumb amongst a golfer's irons.

The more traditional topline is possible because of the club's "super heavy" sole. The sole of the Bazooka JMAX Tour represents nearly half of the club's total body mass, checking in at 119 grams (out of 254 total). That extra weight in the sole lowers the center of gravity, providing both stability through the shot and assistance in getting the ball on a higher trajectory.

The Bazooka JMAX Tour Iron-Wood is available in men's and women's right-handed versions in No. 1 (16 degrees), No. 2 (19 degrees), No. 3 (22 degrees), and No. 4 (24.5 degrees) Iron-Woods. Left-handed versions of the No. 2 and No. 3 clubs are also available.

The MSRP is $119 per club with Aldila NV85 graphite shafts; $89 with Nippon Steel shafts; $89 with JMAX graphite shafts; or $79 with Precision Microtaper steel shafts.
