Covington, Ga. — As hybrid utility club offerings continue to replace long irons in even the most skilled golfers’ bags, Bridgestone introduces the J33 AirMuscle Utility Clubs, a hybrid to end all hybrids. The Bridgestone J33 AirMuscle Utility Clubs blend several features to offer precise long iron results with a more playable trajectory and added forgiveness and control.
The J33 AirMuscle Utility Clubs are made from a two-piece forged construction. The forged soft steel body combines with a thin, highly repulsive forged spring steel face to offer golfers an extremely solid feel and sound. The AirMuscle Utility Irons have a traditional less offset iron appearance, but make it easier to get the ball airborne thanks to its widened sole that produces an optimal center of gravity.
The Bridgestone J33 AirMuscle Utility Clubs’ hollow construction is designed for greater trampoline effect and as a result added distance. The forgiving sole design coupled with the explosive distance makes for a club that is perfect for tee shots into a tight fairway in addition to long iron approach shots.

The J33 wedges are available in #2 (19-degree) and #3 (21-degree) models and come standard with an Aldila® NV 85 Hybrid Shaft. The specialized Aldila® shaft works in conjunction with the exclusive AirMuscle design attributes to optimize golfers’ long iron ball flights.
The J33 AirMuscle Utility Clubs will feature a suggested retail price of $199 each and will be available in early 2005 at golf specialty stores and green grass retailers nationwide.
