Hippo Introduces "Beast" Putters

Will golfers decide that the Beasts are really beauties? That's what Hippo Golf expects.

Hippo has launched a new line of putters dubbed "Beast." The Beast putter line consists of five different models, each of which incorporates Hippo's Polystromic face insert technology.

The Polystromic material is poured into the putter face and precision-milled flat for a consistent surface. The insert is designed to soften the feel of the putter without sacrificing feedback, and to provide the golfer with true touch and optimum distance control. Each Beast putter is also designed to maximize the moment of inertia and minimize the results of off-center hits.

"Our new putter line includes a variety of high performance shapes and styles to accommodate the preferences of a wide range of golfers," said David Dixon, CEO of Hippo Golf Company, Inc. "From classic blade designs to more modern mallet alignment designs, we've got something for everyone."

The five models of the Beast putter line include a hybrid alignment design (the HB606) that features a T-shaped head with three small circular discs lined up directly behind the center of the ball; two advanced heel-toe blade designs (the HB303 and the HB707), and two mallet alignment designs (the HB505 and the HB808).

The putters all come standard with Hippo's "System Matched" putter shafts in 35-inch lengths and Hippo's "Ultra-Soft" Wrap putter grips. The HB505 mallet putter is also offered in 42-inch and 48-inch lengths and in a left-handed model. The HB303 blade putter is also offered in a left-handed model.

All Beast putters have a suggested retail price of $99.99, which includes headcover.
