Innovex E-Motion Ball
Innovex Golf is venturing into the ball market with the introduction of the E-Motion golf ball for 2008. The ball is designed for a tour-preferred trajectory off the tee, with a soft feel and plenty of bite on the greens.

The ball's "Progressive Motion Dual Core" is so-called because Innovex says the core senses and reacts to club loft and swing speed at impact, feeling firmer off the tee and on longer shots, but producing a softer feel off the scoring clubs.

The "Aeroblend" cover is a proprietary design with a 392-dimple pattern and a dimple design that the company believes provides bite on approaches and short shots to the green, but promotes roll on putts.

The 3-piece-construction ball will have an MSRP of $35.95 per dozen.

Sun Mountain RainFlex Outerwear
Sun Mountain's RainFlex line of outerwear is expanded for 2008 with the addition of new colors and patterns and construction improvements, as well as the brand new RainFlex HD suit. The RainFlex HD has a more traditional drape than the "regular" RainFlex suit, and more stretch.

Construction improvements include zipper tunnels, adding additional protection against the rain and leakage; locking zipper pulls to keep the zippers secured; and shoulder gussets that improve freedom of movement.

The RainFlex men's line includes full-zip jacket, long sleeve pullover, short sleeve pullover, vest, and pants. The Women's line includes long sleeve jacket, short sleeve jacket, long sleeve pullover, and pants. Pieces range in price from $100 to $215.

TaylorMade-adidas Bags and Gloves
TaylorMade-adidas recently unveiled its 2008 lineup of golf bags and golf gloves.

Five of the gloves will carry the TaylorMade brand, including the premium offerings r7 Tour and Targa. The Targa's cabretta leather is micro-perforated to allow airflow, especially to the palm where the most sweating occurs. The Targa will retail for $17.99 per pair. The r7 Tour glove carries an MSRP of $19.99 per pair and is contructed of highest-quality AAA cabretta leather, designed to be thin yet durable to heighten sensitivity.

TaylorMade-branded wet-weather and cold-weather gloves are also included and have MSRPs of $24.99 per pair each. Four other gloves are adidas-branded, including the value-priced adidas Golf Inertia AG, MSRP $9.99 per pair.

In bags, the TaylorMade brand is given to four new totes, the Burner stand bag, Monza stand bag, Tourino stand bag, plus the GTR Cart Bag. The stand bags feature an integrated stand and kickplate system, which TaylorMade points to as a specific improvement in the 2008 lineup. The stand bags range from $129.99 to $169.99, while the cart bag has an MSRP of $199.99.

For the first time, adidas-branded bags are also available, four total, three stand bags and one cart bag. The stand bags are the Velocity, Phase and Ascend; the cart bag is named Rival. MSRP on the cart bag is $169.99; the stand bags range from $129.99 to $169.99.

All bags are available with double or single straps.
