And two more items of note for this roundup:
Sun Mountain Superlight 3.5 Hug Golf Bag
There has been an ongoing evolution in carry bags over the past couple decades, from poorly designed single straps to ergonomically designed straps; from heavier bags to lighter-weight and ultra-lightweight bags; from single straps to double straps.
Now the Sun Mountain Superlight 3.5 with Hug Technology bag introduces the Hug Carry System to the general public. The Hug Carry System, originated by Meyer Design Group and licensed by Sun Mountain, consists of a padded, U-shaped "arm" that, when the bag is not being carried, collapses tightly against the bag.
But when picking up the Sun Mountain Hug Bag, the golfer slips the double-straps over his shoulders and releases the Hug arm. It is positioned around the waist and supports the bag.
What's the point? Removing strain from the golfer's neck and shoulders and transferring up to 60-percent of the bag's weight to the waist, a part of the body better equipped to support that weight.
Less stress on the upper body, Sun Mountain says, results in less fatique and better posture.
The Hug technology is in use in a few places already. For example, Annika Sorenstam's caddie had a Hug Carry System arm added to Sorenstam's staff bag. But Sun Mountain's Superlight 3.5, equipped with Hug, brings the technology to retail stores. That bag is in retail outlets now with an MSRP of $199.
The Hug arm on the Superlight 3.5 can fit waists from 28 inches to 40 inches in size.

KZG SPX Driver
The new SPX Driver makes it 12 different driver models currently offered by KZG. The SPX is one that KZG expects to appeal to better players looking for some workability from their driver, while still being forgiving enough to appeal to other ability levels as well.
The SPX is so-named because it features a faceplate made from highest-grade SP 700 titanium, heat-treated and forged. According to the company, this metal and the way it's used on the SPX driver "deliver(s) the dense sound and feel shotmakers prefer."
The KZG SPX driver launches with a retail price of $329 with graphite shaft.
