A few more clubs coming to pro shops:
Sonartec HB-001 Hybrid
Sonartec, often lauded for its fairway woods and hybrids, has the successor to its MD transition club ready in the form of the HB-001 hybrid.
Featuring the typical "rail technology" on the bottom of the sole found on most Sonartec woods and hybrids, the HB-001 is designed for playability from any type of turf conditions. The HB-001 is constructed from 455 stainless steel, has a neutral face angle, and is paired with a Graphite Design International hybrid shaft created to match the HB-001 head and called the "ONiN2."
The Sonartec HB-001 hybrid comes in lofts of 17, 19, 21 and 23 degrees in right handed. Left-handed models in 19 and 23 degrees will be available later in the year. MSRP is $189.
Innovex Type S Hybrids
The successors to the company's well-regarded System RLS hybrids, Innovex Type S hybrids offer small profiles to help glide through rough, low center of gravity and high MOI. The Type S hybrids are available in lofts of 18, 22, 26 and 30 degrees, with flexes of X, S, R, A and Ladies. Both graphite and steel shafts are available.
Spider-Man Golf Clubs
What's the best way to get kids interested in golf? Make sure they are having fun. Making golf fun for the youngest golfers out there is one of the ideas behind a licensing agreement between OnTrack Sports - makers of the expandable-length Accu-Length junior clubs - and Marvel Entertainment.
That agreement has resulted in the Spider-Man Golf Clubs, a set including driver, putter, iron and golf bag, each emblazoned with the Spider-Man logo. The set is aimed at kids ages 3 through 6, with an MSRP of $69.99.
Spider-Man Golf Clubs will be available at retail in November.
