Ping K15 Driver, Fairway Woods
Helping you hit the ball straight: That's the goal with the Ping K15 driver and fairway woods. The clubs have more weight in the sole near the heel (a design feature visible in the photo above), which Ping says helps golfers square-up the face in time for impact.
It's part of something the company calls Straight Flight Technology. The K15 drivers and fairways also both have larger head and face profiles and high MOIs for added forgiveness.
"We’ve focused a lot of the technology in that (K15) series toward helping golfers achieve that goal" of straighter shots, said Ping's Vice President of Engineering, John K. Solheim. "The Straight Flight Technology concept is centered on equipment that brings golf shots back on line and back in play."
The Ping K15 drivers come in lofts of 9.5, 10.5 and 12 degrees, with the stock shaft a TFC 149D graphite (L, Soft R, R, S and X). The MSRP is $337.50.
The Ping K15 fairways come in 3, 5 and 7 woods, with the stock shaft a TFC 149F graphite. The MSRP is $222.50 per club.
