Guide Review - Review: Eazy Bag from LT Golf
At first glance it looks like someone cut a large chunk out of the front (the side that faces out when riding on a cart) of the bag. That opening allows clubs to be pulled at an angle through the front of the bag, rather than vertically up and out of the top of the bag. Even with the provided clear rain hood in place, clubs are easy to access through the opening in bag.
I'll admit that the bag takes some getting used to – but isn't that what they used to say about the "horseless carriage?" Once you decide how you want your clubs arrayed around a circular, rubber club holder in the bag's interior, the "club lock" feature becomes one of those "why didn't I think of that" moments. The club holder locks clubs in place, making them quiet (they don't bang together) and also easy to find. There are also enough pockets to hold all your stuff. The only pocket missing is an insulated beverage pocket now found on many bags.
A sturdy, padded pull handle and built-in wheels allow the bag to easily roll from the parking lot to golf cart. But the "flaps" that serve as the lift point for the bag onto the cart are a bit of a shortcoming.
The Eazy Bag was born from necessity. Doubtless, some golfers will find the ease of access a godsend. Should you go out and invest in the Eazy Bag right now? I'm not sure I'd put off getting that new driver that will add 10 more yards to your game, but for those with upper body limitations, the Eazy Golf bag should certainly be on your radar screen.
